Artist, filmmaker, model, Cassie Meder of moniker Casstronaut, sits down with Velvit to discuss her relationship with her art, her love for film, and finding her dark side.

For our newest curation, we had the opportunity to collaborate with fellow admirer of the darker side Cassie Meder on the release of her newest venture, Treasures of the Earth. Proceeding the launch of the film, We had the chance to sit down with Cassie and learn about her artistic process, her most memorable influences, and her take on fashion in the world of fine art.

JD DORIA is a veteran working in the world 3D scanning and digital photography. With his special edition Petri-dish series for Velvit, he doesn't fail to impress one bit! We had the opportunity to pick the brain of this visual artist and left with a better understanding of why the petri-dish project is his passion, the philosophy Doria packs in to his works, and the written works that inspire him.

Russian born designer Anastasia Ikonnikova of the unisex focused label NUIT discusses her Medieval studies, the launch of her newest collection, and how the travels of her music career has influenced her as a designer.
